Booking & courses

How do I book a course?

Use the Enquire button on a course, or contact us by email. Tell us which course you want and we will confirm dates, availability and price.

Which course do I need?

It depends on your job and what your employer requires. If you are not sure which level of first aid or food safety suits your role, contact us and we will advise.

Can you train a whole team?

Yes. Tell us how many people need training and which course, and we will send a group quote and agree dates with you.

Do I need any previous experience?

No. The courses start from the basics. Requalification courses need an existing certificate, and some Level 3 courses may have entry requirements. We confirm these when you enquire.

What should I bring?

Photo ID, and anything else your booking confirmation asks for. On practical courses such as first aid, wear comfortable clothes.

Qualifications & certificates

Will I receive a certificate?

Learners who complete the course and pass the assessment receive a certificate for the qualification.

How long is a first aid certificate valid?

First aid at work certificates are normally valid for three years. The Health and Safety Executive recommends a short refresher every year, and you need to requalify before the certificate expires.

How are courses assessed?

It depends on the qualification. Most use a short question paper, a practical assessment, or both. Your trainer explains what to expect at the start of the course.

What if I do not pass first time?

Speak to your trainer on the day or contact us afterwards. We will explain your options for taking the assessment again.

English & Life in the UK

Do you run the Life in the UK Test?

We offer courses that prepare you for it. The test itself is booked and taken separately through GOV.UK.

What does B1 mean?

B1 is the “independent user” level on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is commonly required for settlement and citizenship. Check the current requirements for your own application.

Which English class is right for me?

Contact us and tell us a little about your English. We will suggest a starting point, from ESOL classes to B1 preparation.

Support & access

I need extra support or adjustments. Can you help?

Tell us when you enquire. We will make reasonable adjustments so that you can take part and be assessed fairly.

Still have a question?

Email us and we will help you choose a course.
